Hello,old friend.
Out of sheer irony I have discovered that it's amazing what two years won't do to you, even if you're busy telling everyone about your last 15 life changing experiences.
And shit, who knows? You might just end up enjoying yourself acting like it's 2009.
Isn't it fascinating how it is not the people we see most, but those we care about most who bring out the best in us? It's like that first thick-as-a-brick Gameboy you're holding on to. Sure, you lose it every once in a while, but when you find it again and wipe the dust off it doesn't take you back: That breath of fresh nostalgia becomes your be all and end all, you're here and now. It's like nothing ever went away. And all of sudden, you remember who you are.
Thank you, old friend. Today, I caught a glimpse of me. Just that. But it was enough.
Keep your head up.
It can't rain all the time.
If it is raining, I'll see you at a pizza joint.
